Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Design Engineer position include:- 2+ years of experience using SolidWorks for 3D modeling.- 2+ years of experience designing automation machinery.- Ability to design and understand pneumatic schematics and engineering 2D blueprints.- At least 1 year of experience with ERP software and creating BOMs (Bill of Materials).- Design custom automation machines in 3D using SolidWorks.- Create pneumatic schematics in 2D and integrate component mounting into 3D designs.- Collaborate with electrical engineers for component placement and vision controls.- Review, detail, and finalize drawings and BOMs for production.- Assist with troubleshooting, documenting modifications, and enhancing machine performance.Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus end-of-year bonus opportunities.
