Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is looking for a Maintenance Technician for our client in North Charleston, SC.  The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Maintenance team with troubleshooting, repairs, and performing preventative maintenance required to maintain the physical property.   Responsibilities Performs and oversees any and all facilities maintenance duties reasonably necessary for the service and convenience of employees, clients, and tenants of the organization throughout the facility.Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property.Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, drywall, parking lots, sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clears drain stoppages, lighting, flooring, and roof.Performs basic plumbing work in replacing and repairing sinks, water coolers, toilets and other plumbing fixtures.Works with appropriate facility personnel to mitigate breakdowns and to ensure the end product meets the production standards and guidelines in conjunction with quality control objectives.Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, adjustments, and replacements, to maintain accurate records.Other duties as assigned.   Requirements High school diploma or GED.Previous work experience within the Maintenance field or a strong willingness to learn.HVAC experience a plus!Working knowledge of various types of tools and equipment or a willingness to learn.Strong attention to detail.Work independently and stick to a deadline.Stand for extended periods.Ability to lift heavy objects when needed.Have reliable transportation, be punctual and dependableAdditional onboarding requirements as necessary.   The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $16 – $26/hour though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.   Qualified candidates, please apply.
