Backed by science and innovation, we deliver custom solutions to secure sensitive data and information, giving you more time to focus on what’s important Business address: 18 Wyndford Dr, Unit 144, North York, ON, M3C 3S2 Work location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full Time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible   Job Description:   Collect data to identify areas for improvement within an organization’s IT infrastructure   Develop and implement a strategic blueprint to follow when creating or deploying databases within their organization Develop and maintain computer databases Document customers’ requirements for projects  Document reporting needs, queries, logic, results and recommendations to other information systems professionals Enact measures to make sure unauthorized users cannot access the data – Security and access control Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection and availability Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases Test data models and database management systems  Design and develop database Operate database management systems to analyze data Develop and implement data administration policy, standards and models Research and document data requirements, data collection and administration policy, and data access rules Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data Lead and co-ordinate teams of database administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards and models Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers Diagnose problems and resolve issues across various tiers (application, network, database, sever, or storage tiers) Deal with complex data models and object relational database mapping, while producing complex reports Data Analytics Process automation using PERL Understanding of data modeling, database design principles, data security practices, backup and recovery procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot database issues     Requirements            Education: A bachelor's degree or college program, usually in computer science, computer engineering, or mathematics is usually required. Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in the field is required three implementation cycles of Oracle database Management System are required Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
