Will oversee a team of 4 plus the other role they are hiring for and a summer intern.Job Description:Summary: Responsible for supporting the Engineering/Operations team in maintaining the structural integrity of the tower portfolio.Job Functions:  Assign and Review structural tower and mount analyses performed by Design Engineers for thoroughness and accuracyPerform structural tower and mount analyses on existing tower structures / communication structures and their foundations to determine their structural capacityPerform seismic calculations on existing tower structures / communication structures to determine if the seismic loading or wind loading governsCoordinate with VB internal leasing and operation teams to prioritize deliverablesCommunicate with external site acquisition vendors and/or tenants on the status of deliverablesDesign complex tower modifications to reinforce tower structures if the loading parameters produce areas of overstressing. Coordinate the design with drafting to produce accurate detail drawings for bidding and construction purposesWrite professional engineering analysis, construction reports and review peer reports.
