Job Title: Entry Level Engineer/Geologist at Trihydro Corporation
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job Summary: In your role, you will provide field support for soil and groundwater remediation implementation, soil and water sample collection, and field and construction oversight/management. This position includes assistance with site assessments for environmental due diligence assessments (e.g., Phase I and II), environmental compliance assessments, and ESG/sustainability reporting. Office support includes preparation of environmental permits and plans, data management and interpretation, technical report preparation, and project management assistance. The position requires working at commercial and industrial site locations.
This full-time position requires approximately 40-45 hours per week and involves a blend of mechanical aptitude, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic. GIS or CADD training is a plus. Applicants must have excellent technical writing skills and a demonstrated commitment to safe operations. This position is also responsible for the administration and stewardship of health and safety programs at active industrial sites and communicating with project management and client(s) concerning site activity. This position will require a willingness to travel for field work (up to 50% of work time may include travel). Applicants must have a clean driving record, good technical writing, Microsoft Office skills, and a commitment to safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
Direct industry employment history in environmental assessment, within an industrial setting, or a related field
Experience leading field events in an industrial setting
Qualifications:
0-2+ years of relevant experience.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Geologic Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Scientist or similar with a Master’s Degree preferred.
Willingness to obtain PE, PG, CHMM, or similar professional certification.
Very strong academic GPA and relevant thesis topic (if Master’s Degree obtained).
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members.

Ability to travel to client sites and other Trihydro offices.
